The program focuses on three core areas: data engineering, data analytics, and data interpretation. Students must complete at least 36 credit hours to complete the program. The courses include: Foundations of Statistics Using R, Digital Marketing Analytics, Introduction to Business Analytics, Dealing with Data, Decision Models, Big Data, Data Mining in R, Operations Analytics, Data Visualization, Network Analytics, and Data Privacy and Ethics. Students must also complete a strategic capstone component.

The Master of Science in Data Analytics and Business Computing is offered by the Shanghai campus of New York University. The program strives to prepare experienced students with a strong analytical background for advanced careers in the field. Students learn how to utilize data-driven methods to solve business challenges in the big data period. A total of 36 credits are needed for completion of the degree program. The courses include Statistics and Data Analysis, Decision Models and Analytics, Data-Driven Decision Making, Data Science for Business Analytics, Network Analytics, Revenue Management and Pricing, and Marketing Analytics. Students must also complete a capstone project.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Data Science prepares students to improve modern research in data science and pursue advanced careers in the field. At least 72 credit hours are needed to finish the degree. Students must also receive a passing score on a comprehensive examination and Depth Qualifying Examination, and complete a dissertation.
