Stevens Institute of Technology offers a Master of Science (M.S.) in Data Science for individuals who have already earned a bachelor’s degree. This 30-credit degree provides students with the knowledge and skills of researching, collecting, and analyzing data. Graduates of the program usually pursue careers in various types of positions, such as analytics, business intelligence, academia, database management, and data analysis. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to analyze difficult data, use modeling and visualization methods, and analyze databases that possess a very large amount of data. The M.S. in Data Science also features several concentrations that students can choose from, which are the fundamentals of data science, data acquisition and management, data security, and business applications. The following courses are required to earn this degree: Statistical Methods, Advanced Optimization Methods, Dynamic Programming and Reinforcement Learning, Applied Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and more.

The college also offers a master’s degree in business intelligence and analytics. This program can be studied completely online or on campus. Students are taught to not accept assumptions and to use data as their evidence. Tuition and Financial Aid

  • The Provost Master’s Fellowship is offered to outstanding individuals admitted to Stevens Institute of Technology to pursue a full-time master’s degree. This fellowship is a one-time fellowship.
  • The Stevens Excellence Doctoral Fellowship is granted to the most exceptional students pursuing a doctoral degree as well as working on a dissertation. The main goal of this fellowship program is to help support students who are working on their dissertations.
  • The Stevens Fulbright Fellowship is awarded to the most extraordinary master candidates.
