At NBC Tower, the Graham School led by Dr. Christopher Guymon starts its 1.5-year Master of Science in Analytics each August with a non-credit Statistics Bootcamp before immersing University of Chicago Maroons in 11 advanced courses like Data Engineering and hands-on capstone projects. Chaired by Dr. Samuel Volchenboum, the Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics tailors its 12-month, full-time curriculum in Bioinformatics, Clinical Informatics, Health Delivery Informatics, and Population Health Informatics before thesis research at the Center for Data Science & Public Policy. Founded in 1935, the Full-Time MBA lets Booth School of Business post-grads select a 20-course STEM specialization in Business Analytics with opportunities to join Analytics Club, engage in Booth Hacks, attend the LEAD Workshop, and exchange to China. There’s also a Data Analytics for Business Professionals Certificate online.

The University of Chicago Accreditation Details
On March 25, 2016, the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (HLC-NCA) issued a new Institutional Status Report for The University of Chicago to reaffirm the Level VI accreditation with commendation through the next 2025-26 review under President Robert J. Zimmer, Ph.D., who earned the ACTA Philip Merrill Award for Outstanding Contributions. Located eight miles away via Lake Shore Drive on South LaSalle Street, this giant 19-state Great Lakes Region accreditor is recognized by the U.S. Education Department to evaluate UChicago’s 57 baccalaureate, 39 master’s, and 66 doctoral degrees. Further, the Full-Time MBA in Business Analytics is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
The University of Chicago Application Requirements
Admission at The University of Chicago is classified as “most selective” by Peterson’s because only 2,345 of the 32,283 Fall 2018 applicants were chosen for low 7 percent acceptance. Post-grad Maroons must have completed a regionally accredited, four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent. The M.Sc. in Analytics has two prerequisite courses for Calculus I and Calculus II. The Professional Track seeks two or more years of full-time work experience in relevant fields, such as information technology or mathematics. M.Sc. in Biomedical Informatics entrants must have passed a Statistics/Biostatistics course and Health Sciences course. Cumulative collegiate GPAs of 3.0 and better are required. The Booth School of Business accepts an average 3.60 GPA. Most successful M.Sc. candidates reach a minimum 320 GRE score. Strive for 155 verbal and 160 quantitative or higher scores. Full-Time MBA in Business Analytics students report an exceptional mean GMAT score of 726. Foreign learners from non-English countries also need a minimum 104 TOEFL iBT or 7.0 IELTS score.
The University of Chicago has a November 15th deadline for the M.Sc. in Biomedical Informatics. International MSCBMI entrants must apply before September 15th. The M.Sc. in Analytics has three admission rounds ending on January 15th, April 1st, and June 1st. Full-Time MBA in Business Analytics cohorts also have three submission deadlines of September 26th, January 7th, and April 2nd. Only the Data Analytics for Business Professionals Certificate has rolling admission. Have registrars mail bachelor’s transcripts to 455 North Cityfront Plaza Drive in Chicago, IL 60611. Tuition and Financial Aid
For 2018-19, The University of Chicago had an average full-time graduate tuition of $57,759. The Booth School of Business has a higher Full-Time MBA rate of $72,000 each year. Each Master of Science course is priced at $4,640. The Statistics Bootcamp charges $200. M.Sc. in Biomedical Informatics cohorts cover their own $495 Prerequisite Bootcamp fee. One Python for Analytics Workshop costs $550. The student services fee bills $1,248 each year. First-year MBA in Business Analytics majors pay the one-time $2,500 administrative fee. Room and board adds $17,280 annually. UChicago budgets $1,785 for textbooks, $3,150 for miscellaneous, and $2,655 for travel per year. If required, health insurance premiums are $1,170. Total living expenses are $31,854 extra yearly. The estimated attendance expenses are around $108,822.
According to the NCES College Navigator, the Office of Financial Aid in Walker Hall Room 309 gets 61 percent of new full-time UChicago Maroons enrolled with tuition assistance averaging $42,732 apiece for $40.76 million combined. University funds include the Neubauer Adelante Family Scholarship, Empower Scholarship, Odyssey Scholarship, Chicago Public Schools Educators Award, National Police and Fire Scholarship, City Colleges of Chicago Star Scholarship, First Generation Student Scholarship, Provost’s Scholarship, Dean’s Scholarship, Marvin Zonis International Scholarship, Global Innovator Fellowship, and Tobaccowala Fellowship. The Yellow Ribbon Program matches up to $30,000 annually in Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits for military veterans. The Bridge Scholarship covers full tuition for bachelor’s graduates of HBCUs and Hispanic-Serving Institutions who enter with minimum 3.0 GPAs. Federal resources, such as the Graduate Plus Loan and Direct Unsubsidized Loan, require FAFSA applications coded 001774. Data analytics majors could also claim the Acxiom Diversity Scholarship, HIMSS Foundation Scholarship, INFORMS Society Scholarship, Milliman Opportunity Scholarship, and more.
