Schools considered for our ranking are regionally accredited.  They offer a curriculum with coursework in database administration or management. Schools that made our top 20 have faculty who are industry experts and offer experiential learning opportunities. Each online masters in database administration program provides students with mentoring and networking opportunities.

For this ranking, we defined an online program as one having a significant number of courses available online. We then applied our ranking criteria to come up with the top 20 online masters in database administration programs.
