Founded in 1949 by Southern Baptists, Grand Canyon University is currently a for-profit Christian university located in Phoenix. The school was originally a non-profit liberal arts college but was purchased in 2004 by Grand Canyon Education, Inc. The university stands alone as the only for-profit university to participate in NCAA Division I athletic games. Grand Application Requirements

Students who want to apply to Grand Canyon University as undergraduates must earn a cumulative GPA in high school of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, achieve an ACT score of at least 19, or an SAT score of at least 2400 on the math and reading portions of the test. Tuition and Financial Aid

Full-time tuition of 12 to 18 credits per semester is $8,250 for undergraduate study. Summer tuition is $310 per credit. Online and evening programs feature a variety of costs like $440 for education programs, $355 for theology programs, and $470 for business administration programs. Graduate tuition ranges from $489 to $650 per credit depending on the program in which a student is enrolled. For the Doctor of Business Administration with an Emphasis in Data Analytics program, students will pay $650 per credit and will complete 60 credits in all. Students are allowed to transfer up to nine credits when they enter the program.
